Gas Station Employee Working the Pump Takes Headshot
A young man working a service pump at a gas station was shot and killed this past Saturday (19). J.I.O.S, aged 22, was at the Shell in Zone 9 of Guatemala City when a pair of men in a Mitsubishi pulled up acting as if they needed to fuel up. As 'J' and his co-worker were in the midst of doing so, one of the suspects pulled a gun demanding for the victims tips that he had made throughout his shift. When 'J' refused, the suspect shot him in the head once and fled. A lifeguard near the crime, Gerardo Martínez, said he attempted to resuscitate him but that he had already died.   Police have been diligently searching for one of the suspects as his car has clear markings seen in other security videos at other gas stations in the city. |
