Re: Gardena Police Officers Killing Unarmed Man
Unjustified yes. I think tasers would have been far more prudent when you have multiple officers you really should have at least one with a taser out...that's why the family got millions for it. The idiot had meth in his system though and if he didn't I am sure he would have just followed orders and stood there like the other two. Drugs are bad |

Re: Gardena Police Officers Killing Unarmed Man
In which backwoods country do you from? If Im correct there's only been one cop executed for crimes here in America and they were unrelated to his job. If you dont have a certain amount of sympathy for a guy lut into situations where he has to risk his life to protect yours, then you are an anarchist and would not enjoy the structure we have in the USA. Perhals I could suggest living in the Sudan if you prefer anarchy? Not all cops are perfect, not all doctors are perfect (should we execute them when a patient dies on the operating table?), not all judges are perfect, not all teachers are perfect etc etc etc. Not all anarchists are perfect either.... |

Re: Gardena Police Officers Killing Unarmed Man
What a load of bollocks, lovely attitude btw. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I usually lurk on here but am moved to comment on this as it's got way out of hand. It's true, stats show that many unarmed non-whites are shot and killed by people who are supposed to 'serve and protect' and yet weirdly never brought to justice in the USA. In that clip I didn't see one single officer of the law risk his life, serve or protect. Over and over again the police are shown to be corrupt and just close ranks, lose evidence etc, when something like this happens. Nobody ever gets the justice they deserve. So yeah, I'm glad I don't live in the USA. I live in the UK, the Police are still a bunch of corrupt fuckers here too. Just not trigger happy. |

Re: Gardena Police Officers Killing Unarmed Man
Yea, unfortunately this is one of those "WTF did you do that for" moments. Maybe police departments need to reevaluate some of their psychological testing for perspective police applicants. Some people just can't handle that kind of quick thought process under extreme pressure. It's definitely a problem with a few, but not the majority. But these kinds of adrenalin rush mistakes have been happening since the advent of organized police work, we just get to see most of it now thanks to video cameras, cell phones, CCTV...etc, which has a tendency to make it look like its ALL cops, ALL the time. But it's not. |

Re: Gardena Police Officers Killing Unarmed Man
This forgets to mention that they were actually the ones who called the police. One of their bikes was stolen and, if my memory serves me right, had located where it was and wanted to show the officers. With that info, it looks as if the boys are confused or annoyed at how the police reacted upon showing up, since they were the victims. But they got shot instead of getting help. Really fucking stupid. |
