Gang Leader Waiting for Chair Being Reupholstered Shot 4 Times from Behind
Brazil. Iago Azevedo V, being a local criminal faction leader, was shot and killed by a hitman arriving on a bike. He was an influential figure in the region's drug trafficking hierarchy. The Military Police believe the execution was a retaliation or settling of scores in an ongoing war between rival factions, specifically the Comando Vermelho (CV) and the Família Terror do Amapá (FTA), for control over drug trafficking points in Macapá's North Zone. The two authors of the crime have not yet been identified or arrested. This attack occurred just one day after another alleged faction leader was killed in the nearby Novo Horizonte neighborhood. |
