This was a pretty clear case. This cop had a proper reason to be afraid unlike the cop who shot the guy who was crawling on the floor. That bitch could've swing that axe any moment.

Finnish cops usually do shoot in the leg, whenever they even use their firearms. I don't believe that they are that much better shooters than the American ones. In this case it was too late though.

If in fact that she did harm another officer prior to this incident, then job well done I mean FFS, she was prompted on numerous commands to drop the weapon..

Sometimes some people lose their tempers and a multitude of other factors could drive a person to be irrational. When people lose their heads, really stupid choices become life and death game changers. In her case, it was a poor choice to go that level.

But what do you do with the people who don't know to not do that? It's not like people can freely choose to be rational. That type of free will simply doesn't exist.

The cop pulled up pretty close...perhaps give a bit more distance to retreat? Big ass shields to protect against these kinds of weapons? We don't know that she was ever going to use the weapon but she obviously needed containing.
