I've been to the coldest place on earth.. "Operation Deep Freeze" McMurdo Station Antarctica.. Cold as fuck .. South Pole station is super cold

I would so LOVE to hear stories about this! Anyplace here on DR where you could share some, docfr8?

In Russia they call them Snowdrops, like the white little flower that pops out of the snow when it starts thawing.

Those are the drunk or the homeless who fall a sleep on the Street on a snowy night, only to be found in the spring once the snow starts to disappear

Mind you that in Central Russia it is common to have the temperature drop to -40'C / -50'Celcius

I've been in places were it normally drops to -56'C (-68F.)

After every winter the found a few Snowdrops in the village

Those holes they shit in are pretty wide.. Not enough to fall trough but wide enough to get stuck if you fall in butt-first

Especially when there is some vodka involved
