Probably one of a set of automated security cameras which are not continuously monitored. We have something of the sort at the work place and there is supposed to be a security person who monitors them. However, he is often doing other things and not watching. The cameras record so in case anything incriminating occurs there is proof.

Okay, so they're not bright enough to look above them before pushing that scaffold out. But then they laid there on fire, the smell of burning human flesh permeating the air in large plumes of smoke; finally one guy manages to escape with his life, albeit like a dumb ass. And after all that, no one ever was seen coming to help...10 minutes of dumb ass caught on tape.  |

Very surprised that one guy survived. He was hanging on the longest, then stumbled only to zap himself again, takes off and doesn't seem to have sent anyone back for his buddies (though it wouldn't of done them any good from how it looks). Maybe the smell of all that burning flesh made him hungry so he went home for a burger or something. |
