The snipers go for head shots. It's an easy task at 400-500 yards or closer when you have a decent rifle, scope, ammo and a minimum of training and practice. There are always plenty of civilians standing around fully exposed and they present excellent targets for a trained (or even not-so-trained) sniper. |

4-500 yards an easy shot?... maybe for Vasily Zaytsev. even a professional sniper would call 500 yard shot at a melon challenging.
