Four people from the same family were burned to death on Sunday afternoon (13) during a fire in a rural area of Canto do Buriti, Piauí state, Brazil.

A local resident confirmed that the four people who died were: Ilda P.d.S, her husband Aldo P., their adult son Erisvaldo B.d.S. (who had an intellectual disability), and Ilda's mother, Raimunda N.V.d.S., who was visiting.

According to the resident, the fire reached the community very quickly, and the family had gone out to look for Erisvaldo. They tried to run after him, but they all ended up being caught in the middle of the blaze. Due to the dry vegetation and arid climate, major fires occur in the region every year, and due to its remoteness, the firefighters who eventually attended the scene had to be transported from a settlement 163km away.

I'd rather have my head cut off than burn to death like that. And they got to hear each other screaming before the end. What a miserable way to go.

Holy shit it's a family member so you must help them. Like helping a drowning victim, one person gets into trouble and multiple people end up dying.
