Four members of a family were killed when gunmen on motorcycles approached their house and began firing. Two other people were seriously wounded while trying to flee across rooftop

At least four assailants, dressed in black with helmets and faces covered, arrived on two motorcycles and opened fire on two men gathered outside the house. After the initial assault, two of the gunmen entered the home and continued shooting inside. Witnesses reported hearing between 50 and 60 shots.

The four deceased were:
Elar S.A.
Diego M.J., a local pastry chef and cake decorator
Jayder J.L.C.
Dayron M.R., a teenager, who died in hospital

It is preliminarily thought the motive is related to extortion or a settling of accounts, but nothing has yet been confirmed.
