Found Hanged Up High in a Nutmeg Tree with Leaky Nuts
North Maluku Province, Indonesia. This morning around 7 AM police received information from the public regarding the discovery of the corpse of a man in a nutmeg plantation owned by a resident. The discovery started when a witness along with his sister went to the Nutmeg plantation, with the goal of collecting nutmeg. While on site, she noticed a black coloured liquid under one of the trees that had been swarmed with flies. Feeling suspicious, she then looked up the tree and saw the figure of a dead man in a hanging position. Then she called her brother to look up the tree, because there was a dead body hanging itself. After that we immediately went home and reported the incident to my husband, she told. From the identification results, the victim was identified as A. S. M, 24 years old and is a local villager. Officers also found a letter containing an apology, which the victim wrote before committing the despicable act. |
