PHILIPPINES - On June 7, 2019, 28-year-old S.J.M.A. was found dead in Esperanza, Sultan Kudarat.
Here's my translated Tagalog-language news article, which was originally posted on June 12, 2019:
THE DEAD BODY OF A WOMAN HAS BEEN IDENTIFIED
This morning, relatives of the deceased, who was found in the afternoon last week [June 6] at a palm oil plantation which is part of Barangay Daladap, Esperanza, Sultan Kudarat, identified her.
The victim's father and uncle identified her as S.J.M.A., 28-year-old, former Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) and resident of Barangay Barurao, Sultan sa Barongis, Maguindanao.
In a Max FM exclusive interview with the victim's uncle, she told him that she would go to her place in Barurao on June 6, 2019, however she never came home.
He added that he coordinated with Max FM News to identify the dead body, and when apparently the dead body was unidentified her father and uncle went to Esperanza MPS (Municipal Police Station) and then they went to a funeral parlor where the victim's dead body was laid there.
This is when the victim's father confirmed the dead body was her daughter, who did not come home several days earlier.
The dead body was immediately brought to her home, and she is scheduled to be buried this afternoon. It is currently unknown who killed the victim.
Remembering that the victim's dead body was found with lower-body clothing down and with mouth gagged.
