Former Chairman Sleeping Outside Gas Station Gets Fatally Hacked in the Throat
Indian police have succeeded in solving the murder of former Muktainagar Panchayat Samiti chairman speaker D.O.P in 72 hours. D.O.P was brutally killed by an attacker hacking his throat with a machete at a petrol pump on Wednesday. The accused in the D.O.P murder case are from Kurha Kakoda in Muktainagar taluka of Jalgaon. Police arrested three accused last (Saturday) night. The accused have confessed to killing former Speaker D.O.P for Rs 2.5 lakh/$3.278,59. D.O.P was hacked to death on Wednesday, June 17 at around 3.30 am. A large crowd had gathered at the scene on Wednesday morning after the type of murder was revealed. The assassination caused a stir in political circles. The incident posed a major challenge to the police. The police system in the district was at a standstill. D.O.P. was a very agreeable personality in the political arena. He was the former chairman of Muktainagar Panchayat Samiti. He had joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on the backdrop of the Assembly elections. D.O.P. often went to work night and day to refill his diesel. Sometimes he slept at the petrol pump at night. An assassin committed the planned murder. |
