Didn't understand there is a shallow and deep end. Probably saw everyone standing in the shallow end, thinking it's the same on his end. That's the long and short of it. |

He did intentionally. He couldn’t swim and he knew it. Suicide 100%. Amazing in a pool full of people at the other end not a single person noticed.  |

Suicide doesn't make sense. He was trying way too hard to keep his head above water. I think he probably believed the entire pool was shallow. It looked like he was testing the depth, realized it wasn't shallow, eyed the other end of the pool and drowned trying to get over there.

Then again, a lot of people who try to kill themselves get "cold feet" (for lack of a better term). Classic examples can be seen in nearly all self-immolation videos.  |
