Ummm not really. I guarantee after that first wack to the back of the dome and he was unconscious, a few more wacks after that and it’s lights out for good. If they truly wanted him to suffer there’s endless ways they could have made that happen. In terms of ways to die, this was fairly quick and likely not all that painful.
