Re: Florida Cop Shoots Dog - Claims Self Defense.
All of you claiming the dog is aggressive are fucking retarded, get some education. The breed isn't what makes the dog aggressive, it's how they're raised. Even a Labrador can be aggressive. That being said the cop didn't know whether the dog was going to attack him or not and acted on instinct of training and experience. As for the owners, they're irresponsible for not maintaining control over the dog before opening the door.

Its obvious the dog was barking, before the door even opened he took a couple steps back, and at an angle to the door. He heard the dog, he was prepared if it attacked.

Re: Florida Cop Shoots Dog - Claims Self Defense.
No Pitt Bull is an aggressive breed, its not about how you raise them and its not the fault of the dog either, its like putting a very well raised tiger in the middle of society, its just a matter of time before someone loose an arm or leg. Pit Bulls doesnt belong in human society, just be realistic and look at the numbers, almost %80 of dog related human deaths belongs to Pit Bulls. |

Re: Florida Cop Shoots Dog - Claims Self Defense.
I'm a dog owner, and I was obviously touched by the death of this brave pooch. But as long as the cop announced himself, he was justified. The owner should've secured the dog somewhere in the house.

Re: Florida Cop Shoots Dog - Claims Self Defense.
i am a dog lover and owner. but i do admit the dog owner there made poor judgement and it was self-defense. if you have a dog like that with no chains. you should have looked at the peephole in the door before opening it. i observed a peephole embedded in the middle door frame. owner should have known her dog would attack unknown people when released. |
