It's pretty hard to judge it from the video if the dog was actually acting threatening/snarling or just running playfully towards a guy who was just deathly afraid of dogs in which case he should get a different job. In any case the dog's owners are largely responsible for what happened you cannot just let your friggen dog jump all over a stranger. A similar thing almost happened to me right after moving to a new house the neighbor's dog came into my yard growling and running at me because I was a stranger near his property, I really like dogs but just the same I had my piece out and finger on the trigger before I decided his dog was all BS and wasn't actually going to bite. Justifiable canicide or not that was some damn good shooting, it is not easy to hit a running animal that is right on top of you. |

If someone selling magazines rings my doorbell, I go to answer and my dog slips out, in my yard, on my property, that dude has the right to kill it? He wasn't called to that house! He was driving by and noticed they'd left their car door open. I'd take a dead battery over a dead dog any day! I'd rather someone steal my car than shoot my dog. This was just so upsetting.
