I know we got a couple Brazilian jail torture videos laying around here that kind of had the appearance of something like that going on. There's one that started off with the crew melting hot plastic (from a fan and coat hangers iirc) all over this dude. Apparently it hurt a lot, because he couldn't stay quiet or sit still. They eventually moved on to cutting his ears off and made him eat them, then the same with his fingers. After eating the 2nd or 3rd finger, he decided to change tactics. It looked like he got instant stockholm syndrome, and he would eagerly gobble them up faster than they could cut. He was legit looking at them like "see how cooperative I am?! More fingers please!" hoping to score some brownie points.

It didn't work though. He still ended up in pieces, with the ear of a second guy (who was in the room getting tortured at the same time) in his stomach. The sickest thing about those videos was probably the abundance of finger foods but no dip. It makes me wonder if maybe that was part of the challenge.
