I agree they tried hard enough and that probably shouldn't be the main reason for sueing. But the family will more then likely get something for the clearly unsafe walkway and possibly the boat thrusters making him lose grip of the rope. He probably would have gotten up eventually had they not pulled away from the dock.

What does that have to do with his inability to hold onto a rope? What happens when they try and pull him out and he fails to hold on?

The crew did everything they could to save him, so I don't know where the 'they just threw a rope' came from. Family just trying to make some money. Can't blame the ferryboat company for this. The man should have paid attention to where he was going. |
