A 21-year-old woman surnamed Huang was waiting for a bus when she was suddenly hit by a 30-kilogram air conditioner that fell from the 17th floor, causing severe injuries.

Despite being rushed to the hospital, she did not survive. The 31-year-old worker surnamed Li, responsible for the installation, was brought to the police station earlier.

Upon learning that his momentary carelessness took the life of an innocent person, Li displayed deep remorse and self-blame, keeping his head down and remaining silent.
