Re: Female Scientist Becomes Crocodile Food
As an alligator hunter for over 20 years, they claim this wall was 8ft tall. The crocodile was 4.4m (about 14.5 ft, although some articles claim it was 17ft). Crocodiles and alligators can launch at least 3/4 of their body length out of the water to catch prey out of trees. This means the crocodile in question could jump up at least 11ft if it wanted to. Now...8ft wall, 11ft reach...do the math. This was just utter stupidity to have a wall that low to begin with considering these reptiles can reach 20+ ft in length. But, there are also reports that she "fell into the enclosure" depending on where you read it.
