As someone who walks everywhere, you can easily walk across a street while on your phone. At most, you can say "hold on I'm crossing" and then.. Cross. It sucks that she died, it truly does, but that's what happens when you prioritize your phone instead of your surroundings. Why was she crossing a multilane road not on a crosswalk anyway? |

The real problem here is that she got anxious and hurried along at the end... if You should learn anything from her actions is that you should cross the street like a Balla' taking your time while cranking your situational awareness to the max. As two or three members already mentioned: she could have been reading a book, talking on the phone, walking with a friend, or anything and the same would have happened. A lot of people leaving comments on this thread sound like they would totally do the same thing as this lady; fucking idiots  .
