Female Pillion Rider Dies After Their Bike Hit a Garbage Truck
Colombia, A 27-year-old woman, identified as Dayana, D.C.R.V from Sucre, lost her life early Sunday morning when the motorcycle she was riding as a passenger violently collided with a garbage truck. The accident occurred near a roundabout, on the road leading to the Hurtado resort, one of the city's busiest areas for both vehicles and pedestrians. The motorcycle driver, identified as 26-year-old Camilo A.G.M, was injured and taken to a medical center. Authorities determined that he lost control of the bike due to two factors being excessive speed and driving under the influence of alcohol. |

Re: Female Pillion Rider Dies After Their Bike Hit a Garbage Truck
Doubt it would have made much difference, plus helmets are rarely seen in S. America.. so this lady's not especially a dumbass, y'know? RIP to the victim. I used to work with a guy who said "as soon as you get comfortable on a bike, it's time to sell it." But I can't help but feel bad for people like this in developing countries where driving a bike is their only realistic option. And it's so often females, on here. |
