This shooting was totally justified, but that doesn't automatically mean that the universal carrying of firearms by everyone is recommended and safe.

Of course carrying guns for ‘everyone’ isn’t recommended, just most people, which would result in exactly the ‘deaths of violent criminals while they’re in the process of victimizing innocent people’ that you seem to find so abhorrent (and would prefer to have situationally replaced with those very same innocent victims being victimized, albeit usually surviving, instead,) so yes, only a morally bankrupt individual would put the life of a violent predator during the commission of a felony over the right of an innocent to live their life without being assaulted and battered.

What makes you think i’m ‘fearful of life’? Just because i think that most people should be free to exercise their basic human right to have effective means of self defense? Such a binary and simplistic worldview you must have to think that only ‘fear’ would make someone want to armed (when your ‘fear’ of violent criminals getting shot clearly colors your own perspective.) Do you carry your wallet because you live in ‘fear’ of not having it? Of course not. Some of the safest places in the country have extremely high rates of open and concealed carry by the population (though we have a totally different culture here and most don’t expect daddy government to come take care of.)
