Brazil. On September 14, Judge V. V. d. A. A, 45, communicated to P. J. A, 52, her husband, about the decision to end the couple's marriage after being together since 2009. The judge yold relatives that the then husband had accepted the news well and was giving him a ride from on chrismas eve, when a “heated” discussion started between them.

The ex husband, an engineer, proved to be "enraged" and "untempered" when the judge was picking up her daughters - one 9 years old and two twins 7, at the mother's house and taking them with him to Campo de São Bento, as they had initially agreed. Upon arriving at the building, the engineer forced the entrance, passing through the doorman without authorizatio, and pushed the judge.

In a testimony, where the couple was taken by military police, the judge narrated that she fell to the ground and injured her right thigh. She admitted that her then husband had "exploded" but denied that he had previously attacked her. She said she would not like to see him arrested or to file charges against him.

In the first statement, the magistrate said that she valued the physical integrity and the good progress of the end of the relationship, but that she would not want to live up to her right to argue the protective measures of the Law.

Five hours later, the judge returned to the police station telling that her ex returned to his mother's house, threw all his clothes through the bars of the condominium and promised: “This is not going to be like this! I'll kill you".

She repeated that she did not want the engineer to be arrested, but this time, she requested protective measures. The case was registered as bodily injury and threat - both in the context of domestic violence.

Around 6 pm Christmas eve, three months after all the above the judge was stabbed to death by him, in a condominium in Barra da Tijuca. The couple's three young daughters witnessed the scene. In a video that circulates on social networks, it is possible to hear the screams of children crying out for the man to stop beating her.

A few months ago, the judge had requested guards from the Rio de Janeiro Court of Justice. She was accompanied by six armed security guards, in two cars, 24 hours a day. The judge herself, however, addressed the Security Commission, and signed a statement dismissing the guards later on.

On Thursday night, the deceased underwent an autopsy at dawn and is at the Instituto Médico Legal (IML) from downtown Rio. Family members of the magistrate arrived at the scene around 8:35 am to release the body. she will be cremated.

She never prevented her father from seeing her daughters said one of the agents who escorted her.
