Brazil, The woman, E.C.B.F, 33, was president of Canta Liberdade, a group founded by herself and aimed at providing service and support to family members of persons deprived of their liberty.

She had just had lunch at a restaurant and security camera footage shows when she leaves the place and goes to talk to a man, who sits on a chair on the sidewalk when sometime later, a white VW Fox comes to a halt and a man in a blue shirt and jeans runs down and fires several shots at the victim.

A second man wearing black shorts appears later and also shoots several times at her when she is already down. One of them pulls the girl's purse and then they both flee in the vehicle.

Still close to the murder site, the driver lost control of the car. The vehicle overturned and, later on, the two stole a car and fled. That vehicle was found abandoned in the neighborhood later on.

The car went through an investigation and inside police found the victim's purse and documents, as well as a cell phone, a revolver and a kind of letter.
