In a shocking incident, a father hammered his son to death over a property dispute in Andhra Pradesh's Visakhapatnam.

G Veeraraju was embroiled in a property dispute with his three daughters and a son.

His son, 40-year-old G Jalaraju, was working as a seaman in Mumbai and had come home a week ago.

On Wednesday, an argument broke out between the father and son and angry Veerarju attacked son Jalaraju with a hammer and clubbed him to death at his house in Satyanagar near under Pendurthi police station limits of the city.

The CCTV footage of the incident shows Jalaraju doing some chores while sitting on the basement floor. A moment later, G Veeraraju walks calmly behind Jalaraju and picks up a hammer. In the footage, the father can be seen leaning over the son and saying something to him before mercilessly clubbing him to death.

The police have arrested the father who has confessed his crime.

Preliminary investigation revealed that Jalaraju came to Vizag, a few days ago, and had an altercation with his father over some property. He had a grouse that his father transferred more property in the name of his daughters than to him.
