Fatal Shooting of Man with Gun by St. Paul Police
A Maplewood man has died a day after engaging in a shootout with St. Paul police early December. St. Paul police Officer M. T. went to the intersection of Marshall and Cretin Avenues around 2 p.m. Thursday after a woman reported that her former romantic partner was ramming her vehicle, had broken one of its windows, and was armed with a handgun. The Bureau of Criminal Apprehension identified the man as B. D. K. The agency said that the 24-year-old died of a gunshot wound to the head. St. Paul Police said at a news conference late Thursday that the victim shot first and the officer returned fire. The officer was struck in the leg and was released from Regions Hospital later that Thursday. In a statement, the BCA said the incident was captured on multiple video cameras, including the officer’s bodycam. Investigators recovered a handgun from the scene and are speaking to witnesses. Neither the woman nor the man riding in her vehicle was injured. In a protection order filed Oct. 25, the 38-year-old mother of K’ 5-year-old son told a judge that K. had recently stalked and threatened her. |

Maplewood man? Since when? Looks and acts like a Mexican thug to me, pulling a gun out of his hoodie, taking cover and open firing on a suburban cop.

Re: Fatal Shooting of Man with Gun by St. Paul Police
US police really need shotguns and/or M16's / subguns when they exit their vehicles on a call like this. Police will be running into many more swarthies like this but the swarthy will be armed with fully auto Glock 18s, auto shotguns and assault rifles / subguns. Then the officers could very well be fucked in a shootout. Was that perp of color using his door as cover / concealment? The officer did some fine shooting, but luck will run out. Unrelated, I bought a police surplus Glock 22 in .40 S&W that has "St. Paul Police" and their logo engraved on the slide. It was about 300 USD 10 years ago, and I have to admit it is the easiest, most comfortable shooting handgun I own. |

Lead is flying and people are walking and / or driving three miles an hour into the field of fire. Amazing.

Re: Fatal Shooting of Man with Gun by St. Paul Police
I was wondering about that also. It might have been Bystander Of Color (BOC) in the slow car trying to position himself for a good camera view of the action, an idiotic gawker or a terrified person frozen not knowing what to do. Police really have their work cut out with all the new asylum seekers from the Turd World...
