Re: Fatal Diving Accident Caught on Tape

Divers have weights on them, so they sink etc. He obviously had fucked the weights up and sunk far too quickly. Resulting in painful death, basically being crushed by the weight of the water.

Re: Fatal Diving Accident Caught on Tape

what happened was....he was doing a fast descent without the proper mix of air required for that depth. he got down close to the bottom and started feeling the effects of "nitrogen narcosis"..he hit the damn bottom and was so fucked up he couldnt realize what he was doing and he knocked the regulator out of his mouth and he drowned....thats the story...at least that was i was told by a diving buddy of mine that shows this in his courses..

Re: Fatal Diving Accident Caught on Tape

The diver that went to recover his body also died in the attempt. There's a vid somewhere on that one too.

Re: Fatal Diving Accident Caught on Tape

He was far too deep to even try to get back up at one point 91.8 meter is 41 meter deeper than the maximum of 50 meter for recreational dive. Even at 50 meter you have something like 3 mins before you have to start getting up.

Re: Fatal Diving Accident Caught on Tape

Here's a link to a higher resolution copy of the video, without the commentary. Still a couple of minutes missing at the end, though.

Re: Fatal Diving Accident Caught on Tape

the guys in the tape said "he was in another dimension" and that "he wanted to show something" and that they don't understand why he didn't drop the weights. Maybe he saw something, decided to keep going, and maybe that something decided it didn't want to be seen and retaliated.

I really like the sound of that theory...What if remains the question. He saw something. a Portal an opening to another dimension. He tried run and get to the opening but tripped and fell in the process popping out his breathing apparatus. O_O

Re: Fatal Diving Accident Caught on Tape

Video taped by Yuri Lipski who was killed in a diving accident in the "Blue Hole", Dahab, Egypt at 28.4.2000.
The video shows rare footage taken by Yuri's head camera, analyzed by specialists.
Since 1968, more than 100 divers lost their lives at this mysterious place.
If 100 people died down there, why the fuck would you even consider going into the "pit of hell"....deep underwater diving gives me the creeps, you don`t know what`s lurking down there...I`d rather have my happy ass on the sand.
