The suspects were about to detonate an explosive at the door of a home, but failed to measure the shock wave that reached them, throwing them several meters from where they were standing. Two men reportedly arrived in the area on a motorcycle intending to detonate an explosive device , presumably dynamite, in a home. However, the explosion occurred sooner than expected, hitting them directly.  As a result, one of the attackers died immediately, while the other suffered serious injuries and was rushed to a nearby medical center. The impact of the blast not only affected the perpetrators, but also damaged several nearby homes, causing their doors and windows to shatter and scatter fragments throughout the area. In addition, remnants of the criminals' clothing were scattered across the street and sidewalk. One of the affected residents, Olga, told that this wasn't the first incident of its kind in the neighborhood. This time, her son's home was the one attacked. Fortunately, none of her family members were injured during the incident. Olga also suggested that a relative could be behind the attack , which has increased tension and speculation in the community. The Peruvian National Police (PNP) has launched an investigation to clarify the details of the case. |
