Epilectic Female Biker Dies Being Spiked Through Her Eye on a Steel Fence
Philippines, A caretaker riding an e-bike was killed when she suffered an epileptic attack and hit a protruding portion steel gate which went through her left eye. Victim Emelita Vergara, 51, caretaker of Crystal Mansion died at the hospital where she was rushed for treatment. Manila Police said that the incident took place at around 7:30 a.m. in front of the Plaza San Lorenzo Ruiz. The victim was said to be driving her e-bike when she had an attack of epilepsy, her face accidentally hitting a steel gate with a protruding portion that impaled her left eye. Police said the street was not crowded at the time of the incident since it was not rush hour. Members of the Philippine Red Cross headed by Dr. Roland Dave Lim responded and took the victim to the nearest hospital.
