Thanks very much. without your vid we wouldn't know the driver was playing Bullitt with silly air time speeding over a hill. 3+ seconds from airborne to lamp post impact if I can hear it correctly, I can't see the image well on a laptop. He really tried to stay on the road

This is why I hate living on a corner lot, the speed limit in my rather densely-packed neighborhood is 20 mph, but the mental midgets who live here tend to take corners at around 50-60 mph. Makes me scared that one day one of them will lose control and end up in our den, which is where my parents spend most of their time.

The British really love to take corners and roundabouts fast. I drove there years ago and saw a guy take a roundabout in an convertible MG Midget at perhaps 40 mph, he leaned out of the car to keep the wheels on the ground around the corner...

Maybe you could add some large boulders or even a stone / concrete wall for protection. Helps for TEOTWAWKI scenarios too, stone walls usually stop rifle bullets and make for good cover. Cars run off roads into buildings all the time.
