Looks like the guy filming new what was gonna happen. The guy driving the pancaked car just had to change lanes but apparently he wasn't paying attention behind.

I’m always checking behind me when I drive.
Sometimes its unavoidable, like along a route I was taking in upstate NY. Only one lane open and it I had no choice but being stuck between 2 18s.
Had to drive like that for what felt like forever! And it was a construction the whole way, with the jersey block things lined all the way on both sides.
I was really nervous. But since there weee so many trucks on the route, plus construction area, everyone was driving slow.
And I don’t like driving behind those flatbeds, I’d like to keep my head.

Same here, in Florida I stay away from them if I can too.
