Re: Electrocuted on Pole
A man, identified as J. C, aged 55, died of electrocution after falling from a pole onto live wires in Nova Iguaçu, Baixada Fluminense. The incident happened last Saturday (6). J. climbed a pole on Rua 24 de Agosto, in the Ipiranga neighborhood, to make a clandestine call directly from the pole, but ended up falling and getting shocked. The Fire Department was called at 3:58 pm but, when they arrived at the scene, the victim was already dead. Through a note, Light, the concessionaire responsible for energy distribution, reinforced that energy theft is a crime provided for in article 155 of the Penal Code, with a penalty of up to eight years in prison, and causes harm to the entire population, as it can cause fires and accidents. "The company works, daily, to curb this practice in regions where it can operate safely. In territories dominated by drug trafficking or militia, the company has the support of police authorities.", says an excerpt. According to the concessionaire, energy theft is one of the main causes of power outages in several regions. According to the Civil Police, efforts are underway to clarify all the facts. The case was registered at the 56th DP.. |

Re: Electrocuted on Pole
Instant justice! Not as sensationalist as Hollyweird electrocutions, where you get an green aurora borealis erupting on the perps face and a magic ***** and mouse freaking out...
