Re: Electrician Electrocuted After Climbing a High-Voltage Pole

are you serious ? if you are close to those lines when live you can hear and feel the current. my only guess is that his money grabbing bosses told him that they isolated one line only and left the others live. I'm pretty sure that procedure isn't in the manual.
And I'm also sure he wasn't replacing the power cable on his own, way to heavy for one person to manage that kind of job and no engineer in the world would be working with a long dangling cable near live lines, I think he was probably working on the ceramic insulators, removing a vulture nest or something like that...

Re: Electrician Electrocuted After Climbing a High-Voltage Pole

People who get electrocuted can stay alive for a few seconds and sometimes for a few minutes experiencing true hell. It's almost never an instant death. I hope he went quickly without suffering.

Re: Electrician Electrocuted After Climbing a High-Voltage Pole

One day soon, India will discover electrician's gloves and there will be no more of these videos. Very sad.

he's not an electric magician cos
he doesnt know long the span of an electric arc might be relative to the voltage.
I think it's 1cm per 1KV.. could be wrong..

Never trust an Indian electrician.

Re: Electrician Electrocuted After Climbing a High-Voltage Pole

As can be seen from many, many videos here on DR, Indians and electricity just don't mix well.
The language spoken in the end is Spanish… plus those lines too sophisticated for Indian standards. Indians are cheap motherfuckers but no Indian curry fried in this video
