Re: Elderly Man's Brains Scattered After He Crashed Into Tree
Once in a blue moon.. as a kid, my dad was a police officer. They had a guy fall asleep and drift head-on into a telephone pole. He remained seated while his head hit the pole and they had brains all the way up the pole and had to get a bucket lift to reach them. |

Re: Elderly Man's Brains Scattered After He Crashed Into Tree
Aren't you describing a "head-off" collision? Seriously, I can envision the entire head coming off the torso because of the g forces involved, but just the brain? To me, it looks like the vehicle rolled over, his skull fractured when that side hit the ground, and his brain tissue was slung through the window as the vehicle came upright. That would explain the broken side mirror and the limited amount of damage to the vehicle. I doesn't appear he was going especially fast when it happened. He is unrestrained, wasn't ejected, and is still fairly close to the road. For those reasons, I'm thinking that he had the misfortune of rolling over a rock. |
