An 89-year-old man, Manuel G., was attempting to cross the road when he was initially hit by a bus, the driver of which did not stop.

Afterward, a second vehicle also ran over the elderly man and dragged his body for approximately 95 metres. The driver of the car also fled the scene.

Manuel was a resident of the neighbourhood, and according to family members, he took the same route every day. The Military Police were able to locate the bus driver, who was taken to the local police station for questioning.
