Elderly Man on Bicycle Flies and Dies when Being Hit by a Speedy 16 Yo Motorist
A. F. do N., 66, died after being hit by a car in Brazil. CCTV shows the victim being thrown for several meters after his bicycle is hit. The car was being driven by a 16-year-old teenager. The Civil Police investigates the case.  The accident happened on Saturday morning (6), at 7:40 PM. The old man was riding a bicycle when he was hit by a pick-up that was moving at high speed. The video shows that the victim still hit a pole before falling to the ground. The vehicles were destroyed with the impact of the crash. According to the PM, the elderly man was thrown about 10 meters far. The elderly man was taken to the city's Regional Hospital but could not resist his injuries and died within minutes of being admitted to the health facility. He worked as a farm worker. Police said the car was being driven by a 16-year-old. He fled the scene and showed up hours later at the police station accompanied by a lawyer. The Civil Police will investigate whether the teenager took the car with the consent of the owner, because in this case, both he and the person who lent the vehicle may responsible by death. |
