Eight Arrested For Murder of Truck Driver
Eight people were arrested late on Thursday, suspected of involvement in a murder of a truck driver in Goiania. Among the eight, five are teenagers, with 3 boys and two girls, and the other three are of legal age, two men and a woman. Police have not released the names. According to the Military Police, the eight suspects caught a ride with a truck driver after a party. All went to the house of one of the girls, which consumed drugs and alcohol. After engaging in a fight with one of the guys, the truck driver was attacked with a machete, with the consent of all eight people. Even so, the truck driver managed to escape and was rescued by the fire brigade, but died moments later in hospital.
