It's something I've definitely been noticing with news stories that have to do with Russian casualties for sure, soccer moms are applauding things like Russian conscripts dying and rotting where they lay because their bodies can't be recovered. The most recent thing that I'm aware of was the strikes in Russia that killed women and children, same people celebrating that. To see that level of bloodthirst in "ordinary" people, might be a bumpy road over the next few decades in the west.

I assume it got killed right away following killing the tourist? There was ships very close by who probably kept track of the sharks location. Or they killed a random shark to ease the minds of other swimmers.
