Dude must've been snitching for a rival gang and was caught or perhaps snitching to the authorities. Another possible scenario I can think of is that maybe the guy had barely started his criminal career and started selling drugs without the approval of Los Choneros or selling them while working for their rival gang, "Los Lobos". It's also possible poor dude was mistaken for someone else.
