I'm half latino myself....so i can talk from experience . my mother's home country has stupid self defeating traits as well.

Your observation is very exact, it really happens that way; it is difficult to find professional people, or at least, committed to taking care of their own integrity.

Stupid cunt was relying on the 3 wheels to balance the bus. A well-trained mechanic would have protected himself or herself by inserting robust supports under the wheel arch. You must always have a backup system in place. Of course this costs time which equals money. Maybe this guy was forced by his boss to work with no thought of safety, so I empathize slightly, but the golden rule says if it feels like it’s gonna be deadly you gotta refuse to do it, and a proper mechanic or qualified engineer would have never attempted such a job. In my opinion.
