Unfortunately for him, there is no such as thing as bulletproof glass only bullet-resistant. I think you'd probably need a Level 6 or above to stop a 7.62x39 round that close. I believe even the best, most expensive stuff for the civilian market is maybe a Level 4. The military Humvees I think are a 7 and those windows are like 2 inches thick.

Yeah, I'd rather have bought an armoured truck instead, like what they used in the Iraqi war, in about 1991, I believe. Their windows' might not much more resistant to bullets however, as the whole vehicle is much taller, there would be a higher chance of surviving such an attack, overall. Well, maybe! It's just me, and my cursed thinking. My father was a truck driver for some 30 years, you know...
