My thoughts exactly, what is wrong with people these days ? My friend saw a very bad motorbike crash outside his house years ago, he went to check the guy then phoned the ambulance, he then went back to the guy and held his hand as he died. What do they do these days ? Stand filming while you die !!

I'd at least do that for them, no matter how traumatizing it may be. For simple injuries that are not life-threatening I'd get permission to film but something like this a person just needs another person's companionship.

This "uncaring" culture has been brought about by the first responders/helpers ending up being reliable for the continuing welfare ( sometimes whole rest of life of victim) or even being accused by victim for being cause of accident and end up paying money to victim or family if they die.

A 'good samaritan' law is in the works now in countries like China etc where this kind of 'not wanting to get involved' ( except for lol pics to DR) happens.
