Dump Truck Making a Left Turn Fatally Runs Over a Biker
Paraguay. A 24 year old man riding his red 150cc motorcycle collided with a yellow Mercedes Benz dump truck, driven by a 52 years old man on Saturday morning, around 10:00 a.m. The truck made a left turn invading the lane of the motorcycle which rammed against the dump truck and the rider falling to the pavement, where the truck ran over the victim's head who died instantly. |

I really like the dinosaurs out front. The crash was at an impact that was survivable but getting rolled over by those rear wheels would be hard to survive unless you were one of those “Strong Man” contest contestants… |

Um - truck was in the wrong, but surely biker saw it and could have stopped in time?! The outcome was a bit depressing. |

Same. Maybe the truck driver was distracted by the dinosaurs? And, in reference to the biker, doyathinkhesaurus? |

He looked like he had plenty of time and room to negotiate that. Lethargic response apparently |

If you couldn't react in that amount of time, you had it coming.

Re: Dump Truck Making a Left Turn Fatally Runs Over a Biker
It seems everyone wants to turn INTO the path of turning vehicles instead of the direction they came from, where as it turns out they aren't at anymore.... |

Re: Dump Truck Making a Left Turn Fatally Runs Over a Biker
It seems to me that there was plenty of time/room to avoid the accident, leading me to believe that is was more of a(n) on purpose".
