In the driver's defense the lady was shorter than his window and he was intently watching traffic in order to merge when the idiots walked in front of him under his line of sight. As for not stopping he was entering the road from a rough dirt parking lot and I'm not convinced a skinny hindi would make enough of an extra bump for the driver to know there was a problem. Seated on the right of the truck I could see him hunched over trying to get a better view of the traffic he was trying to merge into and they would have been out of his line of sight or mirrors most of the time. Those mirrors suck by the way you can tell squeezing trucks into tight spaces is far more important in India than the occasional flattened citizen. |

And even then, we for some reason seem to be the exception for common sense. We don’t need people to tell us to jump in a lake if we can’t swim, or sleep on the train tracks when we’re tired.  |

Wrong, talk about dead spots, once again... He didn't see shit, simply because the woman was too near to his cabin. You can easily test it: just get in a truck cab, once in your life...  |
