Colombia, Two people died and 6 were wounded in an accident that occurred on a roundabout located towards the exit ramp to Medellin.

According to the information recorded by some witnesses, several people were jammed in place following a minor accident which was attended by police, after the fall of a couple on a motorcycle.

There were several patrolmen and people, that were involved in the minor accident, present when they were run over by a Toyota truck driver. He was drunk as confirmed by the testing done by the authorities.

The police report states that the dead were two residents from the area, who rushed to the scene after the first minor accident.

One of the injured was a Police Patrolman who suffered head trauma, bruised shoulder and a bruised lower back.

The other people who got injured had lacerations on the shoulder and arms, a fractured femur, tibia and fibula and one who has minor lacerations.

It was established that young people inside the truck were listening to loud music. The driver lost control and ended up overturned after the impact.

I feel just a little bad for the driver. Nothing in the article states that they were drunk, as far as I can see. And it's a lousy set-up as well, on a blind curve, though the driver's reactions were certainly slow once everything comes into view. Shitty situation.

Some really really BAD handling of the first accident when the police failed to cordon off the area a few hundred feet before the accident scene to prevent other vehicles from coming around that blind curve and crashing into the responders of that initial accident. Totally needless carnage and death here.

But there seemed to be a lesson here to rubberneckers - careful, or you might die die die putting your long, gawky rubber necks out there

Ooops, this happened in Columbia not Chile. I'm confusing it with the video of the guy who who got headshot-BOOM!ed by a motorcycle cop. Please ignore my comment about Pinochet above. Sometimes all this death & gore on DR blurs when I watch too many videos in a day
