BRAZIL – A drunken man was arrested after driving six miles with a dead body hanging through his Fiat Strada’s windshield.

Highway surveillance cameras showed the Brazilian man continuing to drive after he had hit a cyclist in the Atuba region of Curitiba on Friday night.

The collision was so intense that the impact left the cyclist’s body stuck to the windscreen.

The sight of a body stuck through the windshield of a continuously moving car caught the attention of other motorists.

Initially, motorists mistook the victim for a doll, but after finding out that the upper body protruding from the smashed windscreen and draped over the top of the vehicle was a human, they called the police after one motorist managed to make the driver stop his Fiat Strada.

The police arrived shortly and walked the drunk man, later identified as Jose Adil Simioni, 58, to the back of a patrol car where he was placed hurriedly to avoid him being attacked by onlookers.

The victim, who was identified as Marco Aurelio Dlovski, 31, was on his way back from work when he was hit on a bend.

He was pronounced dead at the scene and was covered with a white blanket by paramedics before freeing his body from the smashed windscreen and taking it away on a stretcher.

Simioni will be facing charges of drunk-driving and manslaughter.

Chante Jawan Mallard born June 22, 1976 is a woman from Fort Worth, Texas, who was convicted and sentenced to 50 years' imprisonment for her role in the death of a 37-year-old homeless man, Gregory Glen Biggs.

The incident occurred on October 26, 2001 when Mallard's car struck the homeless pedestrian Gregory Glen Biggs; at the time Mallard was believed to have been driving while intoxicated by a combination of marijuana, ecstasy and alcohol. The force of the impact sent Biggs flying through the windshield, lodging him there.

Mallard then drove home, leaving the injured Biggs stuck in her windshield, and parked her car in her garage.

After the accident Mallard did not notify the police nor did she get Biggs any medical attention, even though she was a former nurse's aide. When Biggs died an unknown number of hours later, still in the windshield of her car in her garage, she called a male friend, Clete Jackson, for assistance. Mallard, Jackson, and Jackson's cousin Herbert Tyrone Cleveland, took the body to a park and left it there, even going so far as to set fire to part of the car in an attempt to disguise the evidence. The three were each convicted on charges of tampering with evidence for this action.

Mallard became a suspect after she was reported talking and laughing about the incident at a party some four months after the events. "I hit this white man," Mallard allegedly told acquaintance Maranda Daniel, laughing. During the trial, Tarrant County Medical Examiner Nizam Peerwani testified that, had Mallard taken Biggs to a hospital, he would have recovered from his injuries. Other experts testified that they agreed that Biggs would have survived. "There's not a member of the Fort Worth Fire Department that could not have saved Mr. Biggs' life," testified Capt. Jim Sowder. Mallard was convicted of murder in June 2003, with the 50-year murder sentence and 10-year tampering sentence to run concurrently. She will be eligible for parole in 2027.

The victim was a bricklayer, and he used to spend every single vacation day on building a new house for his mom. That day, he was coming back from there. The life of such a good man destroyed by a piece of shit who was litterally unable to stand up without assistance. I'm glad they didn't lynch him though: he must be sober the day that he'll get what he deserves, in prison (no one will protect him, guards included).
