"A video showed the exact moment when a bus ran over and killed a firefighter on an avenue in Copacabana, south of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in the early hours of January 1st, 2023. Firefighter G.C.S., 58, died at the scene. The bus driver, V.d.M.J., was arrested on Monday (January 2). The incident happened a few minutes after the street was reopened. The avenue was blocked for the New Year's Eve party in Copacabana, one of the most famous in the country." |
