But it didn't happen to any man, woman or child. It happened to a drunk idiot who grabbed two switch-gear panels. Westerners, especially Americans, are so spoiled by protections from Darwin moments, I am convinced that our population is visibly dumber with each generation.

If this happened in the Western world the company responsible would be sued millions of dollars, in India you ain't getting shit so they don't have to try. Even if a child died there would be no repercussions, and most people are way too poor to even consider taking legal action.
