Re: Drug Related Homicides in Mexico.
ah crap, I saw this on the news cause it happened in my city... shit. Translation: This is the image of the brutallity between gangs in Tijuana (where I live). 12 half naked bodies, tied up, torture and with a shot to the head appeard, in the early hours of the morning, on the side walk, close to a school. All of them lined up and next to them was found a plastic bag where various of their tongues were found. At the same time that this was discovered, a shoot out in the same state (Baja California) took the life of 4 people. Next to these bodies, there was a message found where it threatens all of those whoever help Fernando Arellano Felix, aka "El Ingeniero" (the engineer), consider to be the boss of the drug smuggeling in Tijuana. Ok, for some people that don't know, this took place during a period of extreme violence in Tijuana. 72 people were murder in one week, and the number went up in each continuing week. But, it wasn't just like random people on the street, only people that had to in the drug smuggeling. Why so much violence? Well, Tijuana is the city right next to the border, and next to it is San Diego. So, Tijuana became the main capital city of drug smuggeling, but various gangs want to control the smuggeling. All the gangs wanted to have the smuggeling "business" but they didn't get to an agreedment. So, instead, they just started to kill each other. This is a gang war, and it's still going on. Sometimes, it makes me ashame of being a mexican. PS: Sorry for the misspells. My english still isn't that great. |
